What we do with an enquiry

You reached this page from a website we host. It was probably a line saying who handles what you write in that website's form. That is us, and this says what we do with it.

We act for the business, not for ourselves

The business whose website you were on decides what is asked for and why. We store it and pass it to them, on their instructions and for no purpose of our own.

So the person to ask about what they do with it is them. What is on this page is only our part.

What we are given

Whatever the form asked for and you chose to type: usually a name, a way to reach you, and your message. Also which page the form was on.

Not your address, not a profile of what you looked at, and nothing that recognises you between visits.

How long it stays

Ninety days, then it is deleted. The business can delete it sooner, and will if you ask them.

The ninety days exist so that nothing is lost if a notification goes astray — not so that anything is collected.

Encrypted backups of our database are kept for up to four hundred days, so a deleted enquiry can outlive its ninety days inside one of them until that backup is deleted in turn. They are there to recover from a failure.

Where it goes

To the business, by the means they chose: a Telegram chat, an email address, or their panel here and nowhere else.

Nowhere else at all. It is not sold, not used to advertise anything to you, and not shared with anybody who is not delivering it.

If you book

A booking keeps what the booking form asked for — usually a name, a way to reach you, the service and any note — for three years after the appointment, because it is the business's record of who came when. To have it removed sooner, ask the business, or write to hello@jtakeit.com.

Confirmations, changes and reminders are sent to you by email and, if you chose it, in Telegram. If you pay online, the payment goes to the business's own Stripe account, and we never see your card.

To keep robots out, the booking form is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which sees your connection's IP address for that check. We do not store it.

Visiting without writing

We count which pages are opened, which country they were opened from — never a city — which website sent you there, and whether the visit looks like a person or a robot. No cookie is placed on you, your IP address is not stored, and nothing is kept that would tell one visitor from another.

Asking us

Ask the business first — it is their record, and they can answer faster. If they cannot be reached, write to hello@jtakeit.com.
